'India' Alliance United, Will Cross The Figure Of 272; Prime Minister's Corruption Allegations Hollow: Jairam – 'India' alliance united, will cross the figure of 272; Prime Minister's allegations of corruption are hollow: Jairam theinsiderinsight

While talking to the editors and journalists of the news agency at PTI Headquarters, Ramesh also said that the opposition will unite and cross the 272 mark in the elections and oust the BJP from power. He spoke on several issues including electoral bonds, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the arrest of JMM leader Hemant Soren, who resigned from the post of Jharkhand Chief Minister. He also shared his views on the speculations about Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Amethi and Rae Bareli respectively.

Claiming that a BJP MP had bought electoral bonds after getting infrastructure contracts, Ramesh said, “Look at the way the electoral bond scheme works. Bonds worth Rs 4,000 crore are directly linked to contracts worth Rs 4 lakh crore. There is a clear nexus between electoral bonds and awarding of contracts,” he said, adding that he had evidence that bonds worth Rs 4,000 crore purchased by several companies in favor of the BJP were being directly linked to awarding of contracts and by central agencies against them. Are related to the action initiated.

The Congress leader said, “To say that Modi will raise the issue of corruption and use the cases of Hemant Soren and Arvind Kejriwal as examples to show that he is fighting corruption is an absolutely hollow argument. Look at the electoral bond story, it is completely a case of vendetta.” He claimed, “As far as Prime Minister Modi is concerned, there is enough evidence to show that corruption is a hollow issue.”

Asked whether the 'India' alliance bubble had burst, he said, “No, no. It is not so?'' The Congress leader said that the alliance with Aam Aadmi Party remains intact and the alliance with NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), Shiv Sena, DMK and JMM remains intact. He said, “The alliance with CPI(M) and CPI is being finalized in West Bengal. In Assam, we have an alliance of 11 parties and we also have an alliance with the Samajwadi Party.

Ramesh said, “Mamata Banerjee has said that she is part of the 'India' alliance. She is not sharing the seat with us, but she is very much a part of the alliance.'' What impact will Kejriwal's arrest have on the opposition, especially when the Prime Minister is using the cases of Delhi Chief Minister and JMM leader Hemant Soren to highlight corruption? On making an issue, Ramesh said, “After the electoral bond issue, it has become clear that give donations, take business.”

Asked whether Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will contest from Amethi and Rae Bareli seats respectively or whether they have left their family areas in Uttar Pradesh, Ramesh said, “Rahul Gandhi had said that he is a loyalist of the party. He is a soldier and if the party asks him to contest the elections, he will do so.'' He also rejected the suggestion that senior Congress leaders are not willing to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress leader said, “No senior leader is avoiding contesting in these Lok Sabha elections. I don't think there is any leader who has been asked to contest elections and is not contesting the elections. Asked whether the Congress is looking beyond Rahul Gandhi's leadership, Ramesh said that Rahul is the leader of the organization. He is leading and has visited India twice, which no other leader in the country has done.

Ramesh said, “His (Rahul) politics is a different kind of politics. His politics is the politics of movement. He wants to revive and give a new look to the organisation.” Ramesh said Gandhi has been “extraordinarily successful” in infusing new energy into the organization and after the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' under his leadership, everyone looks at him differently. Have been forced to watch from.
