As soon as he entered the field for this match, Delhi captain Rishabh Pant has made a special achievement in his name. He has now become the first player in history to play 100 matches for DC in IPL. He has also become the seventh player to complete 100 matches for a single team in IPL.

Rishabh Pant has now become the player who has played the most matches for DC. Till now this record was in the name of Amit Mishra, who played a total of 99 matches for DC in 10 different seasons. Shreyas Iyer has also represented Delhi for 7 seasons in his career, in which he played a total of 87 matches. The player who has played the fourth most matches for Delhi Capitals is David Warner, who has played 82 matches for this franchise. Although Virender Sehwag has retired, he played 79 matches for DC in his IPL career.
Player and for which team he played 100 matches fastest
Suresh Raina became the first player to play 100 matches for CSK. Raina had dedicated 12 years of his career to Chennai Super Kings. Harbhajan Singh became the fastest player to complete 100 matches for Mumbai Indians. Virat Kohli was the first to achieve this feat for RCB, who has been playing for this franchise since 2008. Gautam Gambhir, who made KKR champion twice under his captaincy, had completed the fastest 100 matches for this franchise.
Ajinkya Rahane has played for many teams in his IPL career, but he first played 100 matches for Rajasthan Royals. This feat for Sunrisers Hyderabad was achieved by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is playing for SRH for the 11th consecutive season in 2024. Rishabh Pant has become the first player for Delhi Capitals to achieve this feat. This fact may surprise you that till date no player has played 100 matches for Punjab Kings.
