In Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, a video of school children being carried on an e-rickshaw tied with a rope is going viral on social media. This video exposed the education department and transport department. Besides, the laxity of the district administration has also come to light. At present, the Transport Department, taking cognizance of the viral video, has patted its back by issuing a challan of around Rs 8200 for the e-rickshaw.
At the same time, the Education Department is also not tired of giving rote answers to take action after investigating the entire matter. Let us tell you that the team of District Road Safety Committee was running a voter awareness campaign on Amroha Hasanpur Chetan Chauhan Marg. Then a member of the committee noticed the school children riding in the e-rickshaw.

The driver did not have a license
District Road Safety Committee member Anil Jagga saw that school children were tied to the e-rickshaw with a rope. Therefore, he stopped this e-rickshaw and while getting information from it, he made a video of the children sitting on the e-rickshaw. Along with this, a video was also made of the driver driving the e-rickshaw.
The driver told that this e-rickshaw belonged to his uncle. He also told that he did not even have a driving license. On receiving this information, Anil Jagga called the team of Transport Department on the spot and also got the challan of this e-rickshaw issued. After this, a member of the Road Safety Committee made this video viral on social media.
BSA gave a rote answer
At present, Basic Education Officer Dr. Monica has also assured to take action like Rattu Parrot after investigation. He said that this matter has also come to my notice through social media. I immediately informed the concerned Block Education Officer about the matter and instructed him to investigate the matter impartially. Also, notice should be sent to the concerned school. Departmental action will be taken against the concerned culprit as it is a question related to the safety of children.
In this, I would also appeal to the parents to ensure that the transport or whatever transport system they are sending their children with is safe. They are taking away small children, risking their safety and this is also inhumane. The children have been tied with ropes. This matter is being investigated and strictest action will be taken against the culprits.
