For RCB, Virat Kohli scored the 8th century of his IPL career by playing an unbeaten inning of 113 runs. Apart from him, captain Faf du Plessis also contributed 44 runs. On the other hand, although RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was out on the score of zero, but with the help of Jos Buttler's century and Sanju Samson's important inning of 69 runs in 42 balls, Rajasthan defeated RCB in a one-sided manner.

RR needed only 32 runs in the last 5 overs, but the wickets of Sanju Samson in the 14th over and Riyan Parag in the next over gave hope to RCB.

Butler played an important role in helping RR win by 6 wickets by scoring 100 runs in 58 balls. This is Rajasthan's fourth consecutive win in IPL 2024 and the team has now topped the points table with 8 points.

Virat Kohli completed the 8th century of his IPL career by playing 67 balls in the RR vs RCB match. This fact may surprise you that by scoring a century in 67 balls, Virat Kohli has jointly reached the first place with Manish Pandey in scoring the slowest century in the history of IPL. But Virat's century pales in comparison to the brilliant innings of Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler and the 148-run partnership between them. Jos Buttler gave victory to Rajasthan by hitting a six and with this six he also completed his century.
