Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was seen with Union Minister Ashwini Choubey amid speculations about the return of Janata Dal United (JD-U) to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Nitish Kumar had reached Shri Baba Brahmeshwarnath Dham to lay the foundation stone of the second phase of development works in Brahmapur, Buxar. After inaugurating Brahmeshwarnath Dham with CM Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Ashwini Choubey said, “Whatever God wishes will happen… I was the one who brought him (Nitish Kumar) here for the first time and even today I take him.” I have come.”
On one hand, Nitish Kumar is sharing the stage with BJP's Union Minister, while on the other hand, BJP MP and former Deputy CM of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi, Union Minister Nityanand Rai reached the party's core committee meeting in Patna. Amidst the political turmoil, the Bihar government on Friday transferred 22 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 79 of the Indian Police Service (IPS) and 45 of the Bihar Administrative Service (BAS). The transferred officers include five District Magistrates (DM) and 17 Superintendents of Police (SP). Earlier on January 23, the state government had transferred 29 senior IAS officers. A senior official of the General Administration Department said that the transfers and postings made in the last few days are routine exercises.
All these developments are indicating that the political equations in Bihar are about to change….

Amid fears of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar walking away from the Grand Alliance, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders gathered at the residence of party president Lalu Prasad here on Saturday. Apart from Prasad, his wife and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi and his son and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav are present in the meeting. Senior leaders including members of the state legislature are also present in the meeting.

JD(U) leaders reach Chief Minister's residence
Amid strong indications that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar plans to leave the ruling 'grand alliance' and join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), top leaders of the Janata Dal (United) (JD-U) reached Kumar's residence on Saturday.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge told the media, “I have no information about JDU's exit from the INDIA alliance. It is not clear what is in their mind. I am going to Dehradun tomorrow, then to Delhi. I will get complete information and Then I will tell you. Let's see what happens… Our effort is to unite everyone.”
