British swimmer Tom Daley goes out with a bang on the 2024 Paris Olympics!
The beloved diver, 30, received silver alongside Noah Williams for Staff Nice Britain within the males’s synchronized 10-meter platform on the Paris Aquatics Middle on Monday, July 29. They fell to China’s Lian Junjie and Yang Hao.
The medal marks a poignant second for Daley, as this may probably be his remaining Olympic occasion ever, as he not too long ago returned from retirement to compete one final time.

Daley informed the Paris Olympics that he and his household visited the USA Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, and shared an emotional second that ended along with his son asking to see Daley compete.
“On the finish, there was this video of what it means to be an Olympian, and naturally, by the top of it, I used to be crying, and Robbie turned to me and mentioned, ‘What is the matter, Papa, what is the matter?’” Daley recalled. “I mentioned I missed diving and I missed the Olympics, and Lance checked out me and mentioned, ‘Oh no, I do know what this implies’. And Robbie was like, ‘I wish to see you dive on the Olympics’. And that was that.”

Although Daley mentioned he knew there was “no assure” he’d be capable of qualify, contemplating he’d taken two years off, he was decided, and is “actually proud” of himself for having his onerous work repay.
