It is alleged that the forest workers had sent the villagers inside the forest in the name of cleanliness. In this, a villager was taken away by a tiger. The next day a half-eaten body was found inside the forest. The tiger kept eating the villager for two days. There has been a stir in the area after this matter. How did one reach the rural forest? In fact, Gangaram, a resident of village Jamunia in Mandhotanda area, and other villagers were sent by forest workers to clean the forest on January 29. It is alleged that the forest workers allow the villagers to cut wood without paying them for cleaning. Meanwhile, inside the forest, suddenly Gangaram was taken away by the tiger by pressing him in its jaws. Seeing this other villagers came running.
Gangaram was being searched after the incident. On January 30, Gangaram's half-eaten body was found inside the forest. Cuttings were also found inside the forest on the spot. After the incident, the officials have now refused to ask the villagers to work as laborers and are talking about entering the forest illegally. At present there is a lot of anger among the villagers.
DFO Naveen Khandelwal says that information was received from Pilibhit Tiger Reserve that a villager is missing. He was searched. The body was found inside the forest. The tiger has made him a morsel. The allegations against the Forest Department will be investigated.
