IND vs ENG 2nd Test, Rajat Patidar: Rajat Patidar has been included in the Indian squad for the second Test to be played against England. Patidar has joined Team India as a replacement. But there came a time when Patidar became frustrated with his injury. But he told that returning from injury and coming to Wulaawa for the first time for the test was the biggest happy moment for him. Patidar did a miracle in one year.

BCCI shared a video through social media, in which Patidar expressed his feelings. He also talked about injuries and learning from captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli. At the beginning of the video, Patidar said, “The time of injury is difficult for any player. At that time I was thinking that the time it will take to recover cannot be changed. I accepted that thing and considered myself present. I focused on what I could do given the time. Coming back after injury and getting my first Test call was a very happy moment for me because representing the country in Test was my first dream.”

He further said, “I did not talk to Rohit Bhai that much, which has happened after this tour. There was talk about batting. He shared his experience in the nets. By doing all these things, one gets confidence.” Patidar further said that his batting style is aggressive.

Rajat Patidar, who played for RCB in IPL, talked about the influence of Virat Kohli. He said, “I always watch his batting. I watch him from behind in the nets. Especially his footwork on the incoming ball, his body movement while batting, I find it the best. I try to incorporate those things in myself. It doesn't happen that fast, I'm just trying.”
