Regarding providing free electricity to one crore families, he said that the Central Government has a Solar Roof Top Scheme, under which solar roof tops will be installed on houses consuming less than 300 units of electricity. Singh said that this scheme is different from the already running roof top scheme. In the earlier scheme, we give subsidy and the landlord has to take a loan. After that the vendor selects and he comes and installs the system. Under the new scheme, the landlord neither has to take a loan nor has to go anywhere. Our company will take the loan and will also maintain it for 10 years.
