The England captain described Ben Fox as a special talent. He said, “Ben Foakes can not only do what no other wicketkeeper can do but he also makes things look very easy. Ben Fox is a very special talent behind the wicket. Even if there is a two or three percent chance, Fox has the ability to convert it into 100 percent. This is going to be a big difference in this series.''
Bashir had to go back to England
Ben Stokes has also indicated that spinner Tom Hartley will be given a chance to debut in the series against India. Stokes said that Hartley's bowling is very excellent. Due to Shoaib Bashir being out, the way for Hartley to play has been cleared. Apart from Jack Leach and Hartley, Joe Root will play the role of the third spinner in the team. The England team wanted to keep Bashir in the playing 11 as the second spinner. But due to visa problem, Bashir had to return to England. The picture is not clear yet on whether Bashir will be a part of the team in the remaining matches of the series or not.
