IND Vs ENG: Yashasvi Jaiswal is no less than Rishabh Pant, the veteran player also acknowledged his talent theinsiderinsight

IND Vs ENG: On the first day of the first Test against England, Yashasvi Jaiswal has pushed the opposition team on the backfoot by playing an unbeaten inning of 76 runs in 70 balls. After the explosive innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal is being compared with Rishabh Pant. India's star spinner R Ashwin has claimed that there is similarity in the game of Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Thanks to the brilliant performance of Jaiswal and Ashwin, India is just 127 runs behind England in the first innings of the first Test and has 9 wickets left in hand.

After England's innings was bundled out for 246 runs, Jaiswal along with Rohit Sharma gave a fast start to India. India's score had crossed 50 in just 6.3 overs. The impact of Jaiswal's innings was that England did not get a chance to make a comeback in the match. After the end of the day's play, India's score is 119 runs at the loss of one wicket. Ashwin has given the credit for India's better condition to Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Ashwin has described Jaiswal's game as similar to Pant's. Talking about Jaiswal, Ashwin said, “That's the beauty of playing cricket at this level. Someone comes who does not play according to the system and is not carrying any kind of burden. IPL was great for Jaiswal. After this Jaiswal performed amazingly in first class cricket. He is becoming a player who does nothing wrong. Jaiswal took up Test cricket brilliantly. He is playing fearless cricket and has great shots.''

Jaiswal's game is like Pant's

Ashwin further said, “I am enjoying a lot watching Jaiswal's game.” I feel as if I am watching Pant playing. Both bat in the same way. The method of both against left arm spinners is exactly the same. Jaiswal has a lot of shots and his style of playing is amazing.''

Let us tell you that Yashasvi Jaiswal is playing only his 5th Test and apart from one century, he has scored two half-centuries. The most important thing is that Jaiswal is batting with a strike rate of around 61 in Test cricket and pushes the bowlers of the opposing team on the back foot in the beginning.
