Bharatiya Janata Party has released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party has canceled the tickets of 34 sitting MPs, including Pragya Singh Thakur, MP from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She is known for her controversial statements. BJP had released a list of 195 candidates on Saturday. This time Alok Sharma has been given ticket from Bhopal seat. The party has announced candidates for 24 out of 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh. The ticket of two sitting MPs of the state, Pragya Thakur from Bhopal and KP Sharma from Guna, has been cut, in whose place Jyotiraditya Scindia will contest the elections.
