Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday. The meeting lasted for about 8 hours. In the meeting, many ministries gave presentations on their future agenda. In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi discussed in detail the 10-year successes and future priorities of his government, especially the goal of creating a 'developed India' by 2047. The meeting held today is being considered important in view of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May.

Today's meeting also discussed the 100-day agenda of immediate steps for immediate implementation after the formation of the new government in May, 2024. The Council of Ministers deliberated on the vision document for Developed India 2047 and the detailed action plan for the next 5 years. The roadmap of developed India has been prepared after intensive preparation of more than 2 years. It has been prepared after extensive consultation with all ministries and state governments, academicians, industry bodies, civil society, scientific organizations. For this, more than 2700 meetings, workshops and seminars were organized. The government received suggestions from more than 20 lakh youth.
