In the history of Test cricket, the record of scoring the most runs in a series is in the name of Sir Don Bradman. He scored 974 runs in a five-match series in 1930 at an excellent average of 139.14. Then four centuries came from his bat. England's Walter Hammond has also scored more than 900 runs in a Test series. He had scored 905 runs in the five-match series.
