Political pundits sometimes make a mistake and consider every election as arithmetic. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis (Devendra Fadnavis) said this. In an exclusive interview given to NDTV Editor-in-Chief Sanjay Puglia, Devendra Fadnavis explained the formula of political chemistry of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that in arithmetic, the sum of 1+1 is 2 and in political chemistry, 1+ 1 is 11. He has also claimed to get more seats in Maharashtra than in the last Lok Sabha elections.

When Fadnavis was asked about different data of opinion poll, he raised questions on political pundits and explained the difference between arithmetic and political chemistry.
He said, “I feel that political pundits sometimes make this mistake. They consider every election as arithmetic. Then we make a sum of three parties, those three parties. How much will this and that party get? Then they tell the figures. This is not an election of arithmetic, it is an election of political chemistry. In arithmetic, 1+1 adds up to 2, in political chemistry, 1+1 adds up to 11. The chemistry in this is the chemistry of the common man with Modi ji. That is why no political pundit is able to guess or will be able to. I say that those who give us 26-30 seats should do the correction today itself.”
Modi is 360 degree brand in Maharashtra: Fadnavis
When Devendra Fadnavis was asked which aspect of the Modi brand does he bring forward while talking to people, he said, “Modi is a 360 degree brand in Maharashtra because the kind of infrastructure built in Maharashtra has Modi ji's stamp on it. The way the agenda of poor welfare has been run, it has Modi ji's stamp on it, the way women have got rights, the way schemes have been made for SC and ST, it has Modi ji's stamp on it. No section of the society is like this. Which does not have the imprint of Modi ji. In 2014, in 2019 we crossed forty. This time we will break the previous record.”
