One individual has died after a helicopter crashed onto the roof of a resort in Cairns, Australia on Monday, Aug. 12.
In an announcement, the Queensland Police Service confirmed that the pilot, who was the one occupant of the plane, was declared lifeless on the scene after the helicopter collided with the resort roof.
“Police are investigating following a deadly aviation incident in Cairns Metropolis this morning, August 12,” police stated of their assertion. “Emergency companies have been known as to the intersection of The Esplanade and Florence Road round 1:50 am following reviews a twin engine Helicopter colliding with the roof of a resort.”
