Alison Hammond appeared visibly emotional on Friday’s (28 February) episode of This Morning, as she gave a tearful goodbye to outgoing editor of the ITV daytime present, Martin Frizell.
Revealing Frizell was the one that “took an opportunity” on her and co-presenter Josie Gibson, Hammond mentioned the workforce had been “so unhappy” to see the TV boss go away after 10 years within the position.
Gibson added Frizell “believed in me after I did not even imagine in myself”.
Frizell mentioned: “It has been an excellent journey. It has been a incredible time.”
