34 candidates filed nomination papers for the Gautam Budh Nagar Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh, out of which the papers of a total of 19 candidates were canceled by the district administration after scrutiny on Friday. District Election Officer Manish Kumar Verma gave this information. He told that now 15 candidates are in the fray from Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha seat.

The candidates whose nominations have been canceled have made serious allegations against the officials, although the District Election Officer has said that complete impartiality will be maintained.

District Election Officer Verma said, “34 candidates had filed nomination papers for the voting on Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha seat on April 26. All the nomination papers were scrutinized on Friday. When deficiencies were found in the nomination papers, the papers of 19 candidates were rejected.” Were cancelled.”

During investigation, nominations of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Samajwadi Party (SP) Dr. Mahendra Singh Nagar, BSP's Rajendra Solanki, National Party's Kishore Singh etc. have been found correct.

Angered by the rejection of nomination papers, two candidates have demanded an investigation into the matter from the Election Commission and action. Both of them have accused of deliberately canceling the nomination.

National President of Azad Adhikar Sena, Amitabh Thakur has alleged that the nomination of his party's candidate Yatendra Sharma from Gautam Buddha Nagar was deliberately rejected. Independent candidate Sunil Gautam said that he had taken ten proposers with him, who were not allowed to enter the election officer's room and their nominations were deliberately rejected.
