New Delhi :

Delhi Police Crime Branch officials have served a notice to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with his allegation of attempting to poach Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. In this matter, notice has also been given to senior party leader and minister Atishi, regarding which Atishi accused the Delhi Police officers of doing drama and said that I feel pity for them. She said that I want to tell the political masters of the crime branch that you also know who are those people who have been breaking the opposition governments one by one for the last seven-eight years. He also called this notice funny.

Atishi said that we feel pity for the officers who came from the crime branch because when they joined the police, after promotion they would have become inspectors or ACPs, they would have thought that by joining the police they will serve the country and protect women. But today his political masters have abandoned those ideas as a prime time TV gimmick.

He said that when we ask them, they say that we cannot talk in front of the media, come inside, then what message does it send to the entire Delhi and the country?

He said that yesterday, after three-four hours of drama, the crime branch gave a notice to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, they also came to my house and gave this notice after two-three hours of drama. This notice is interesting, it is neither an FIR, nor a summons, nor does it contain any section of IPC-CRPC.

No need for so much political drama: Atishi

Atishi said that he wants to ask us who finally gave the offer to the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. She said that I want to tell the political account of Delhi Police that there is no need to do so much political drama. These are the same people who in 2016 got 9 Congress MLAs from Uttarakhand to join BJP. In 2019, 14 Congress MLAs in Goa were recruited and included in the BJP. In July 2019, 17 MLAs from Congress and JDS in Karnataka broke away and joined BJP. In 2020, 22 Congress MLAs in Madhya Pradesh broke away and joined BJP and just a few days ago, in Maharashtra in June 2022, the same people had come with Eknath Shinde to break the MLAs, the same people had come to contact the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs.

He said that in these cases, the same people who were looking for MLAs with crores of rupees were contacting Aam Aadmi Party MLAs.

Was accused of buying ruling MLAs

Kejriwal and Atishi had claimed on January 27 that the BJP was trying to buy the ruling party MLAs by offering them Rs 25 crore each and tickets in next year's assembly elections to topple the AAP government.
