Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra entered Bihar from Bengal today. In Kishanganj, Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary passed the baton to Bihar PCC Chief. In his address at the first stop of the yatra in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi attacked PM Modi and said that Manipur has been burning in the fire of violence for 9 months, but the Prime Minister is not getting time to visit the state. Rahul Gandhi once again raised the issue of OBC and talked about conducting caste census if Congress government is formed.
He said, the whole country knows that the largest population in India is OBC. After that comes the number of Dalits, tribals and minority communities. I want to tell the OBC community that the Central Government is being run by 90 IAS officers. They control the Union Budget. I want to tell the OBC community in Bihar that out of 90 officers, only 3 are OBC and thus very little money has been allocated for OBCs. That is why we have talked about a revolutionary step in this direction. India should now know what is the true population of OBC Dalits in the country. That is why we want caste census in India.
Rahul Gandhi said in his address that the country will progress only when a worker gets the same respect as an industrialist gets. For this very goal we are carrying out a great march of justice. Rahul said, 'Last year we had done India Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. People asked us what is the aim of this journey and why are you doing it on foot? We said that the ideology of BJP-RSS has spread violence and hatred in the country. That's why we took this journey to open a shop of love in the market of hatred. This journey had a huge impact on the politics of India.
Rahul Gandhi said that BJP has presented the ideology of hatred and violence before the country. We have brought the ideology of love against that. Hate cannot be destroyed by hatred, hatred can only be destroyed by love. On one hand, people of BJP-RSS talk about dividing the country through hatred. On the other hand, we talk about love. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, 'After Nitish Kumar's betrayal yesterday, the people of Kishanganj are giving a grand welcome to Rahul Gandhi and the Yatra. We had also invited Nitish Kumar but he turned out to be a chameleon.
