Kejriwal government accused of lying

The Delhi government had said that after the implementation of the solar policy, the electricity bill of most of the houses in the capital will be zero. Now the government has accused LG of stopping it. However, sources in LG House have accused the Kejriwal government of lying. He says that Kejriwal government is misleading people by habitually lying, LG has not stopped the solar policy. According to sources, LG House has said that there is no such provision in the policy by which people's electricity bills become zero. In contrast, there is a “RESCO” provision in the policy, which will benefit only private power companies. LG has sought details on this provision. LG also asked whether there is a provision in this policy for coordination to benefit consumers from the capital subsidy worth thousands of crores of the Government of India.

LG stopped solar policy-Atishi

Delhi Energy Minister Atishi, while raising the issue of solar policy in the House, said that while announcing the new solar policy recently, the government had said that Delhi will be able to produce 20 percent of the electricity through this solar policy. People will be able to use free electricity. But it is unfortunate that this policy has been stopped by the Lieutenant Governor. Atishi claimed that the LG has kept the file with him for many days, but after repeatedly asking questions, the Lieutenant Governor sent the file back by raising unnecessary objections late last night. Now the file will keep rotating in response to the questions. LG's only aim is that the solar policy should not be implemented before the code of conduct is implemented.

Atishi said that the Lieutenant Governor is the guardian of Delhi, but he is batting on behalf of BJP while playing the role of opposition. MLA Rajesh Gupta placed a censure motion on the floor of the House on the issue of LG stopping the solar policy, the House passed the motion by voice vote.
