The Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted an interstate narcotic drug cartel and seized 15 kg of heroin. Its price in the international market is said to be around Rs 105 crore. According to the information, heroin was brought from Manipur. Special Cell officer said that 3 accused have been arrested in this case. He said that these accused have supplied drugs in many VIP parties of Bihar, West Bengal and Delhi.

According to DCP Amit Kaushik of Special Cell, a team of Special Cell was working on information that an interstate drug gang was active in Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Delhi. Members of this cartel were involved in supplying heroin from Myanmar to many parts of the country including Delhi NCR.

He told that on March 21, 2024, a special information was received that members of this cartel, Diliram, Prakash Paudyel and Arjun had taken a huge consignment of heroin from Daju Kuki alias Raju from Manipur. They will deliver this consignment of heroin to someone known to Daju Kuki near Rajghat Bus Depot in Delhi. Police laid a trap, meanwhile three people came from ITO in an auto. They were identified as Diliram, Prakash and Arjun. After catching him, a total of 15 kg heroin was recovered from him.

During interrogation, all the accused revealed that they are members of a drug syndicate, which is involved in smuggling of drugs from Myanmar to many parts of India. He told that he has been supplying heroin for the last three years and had earlier supplied drugs in many parties in West Bengal, Bihar and Delhi NCR. After interrogating the accused, Delhi Police has arrested another accused Sanjay Saha from West Bengal in this case.
