SDM (Sadar) of Firozabad, UP, Kriti Raj is in the news. Yesterday, he had secretly raided the Primary Health Center located in Didamai and claimed to have exposed all the shortcomings in the health centre. His video went viral on social media, which SP chief Akhilesh Yadav Also shared. However, now the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the district has completely rejected the flaws found during the inspection by SDM Kriti Raj.
In fact, after inspection, SDM Kriti Raj had said that she had received a complaint about the Community Health Center Didamai that the patients who come here to get anti-rabies injections are not treated properly. People were waiting in line since 10 o'clock but the doctor was missing.
Kriti Raj also said that I Health Center in Ghunghat Went. Queued up, got the slip cut and showed it to the doctor. But the doctor's behavior during this time was not appropriate. When the register was checked, many employees were missing. Some had their signatures but were not present.
Not only this, the SDM had said that there were expired medicines in the stock room of the hospital. According to SDM Kriti Raj – When the stock of medicines was checked, many medicines were found expired. There was also lack of cleanliness. Toilets, bedsheets etc. were also found dirty. Injections were also not being administered properly. The work in the hospital was not being done in the spirit of public service.
CMO rejected SDM's claim
On the claim of SDM, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rambadan Ram said that there was no expiry date medicine there. One or two medicines which were expired were kept in a separate box. The CMO further said that after the news came in the media, I myself went to inspect that health center. There, dog bite injections were being given to the patients continuously since 8:00 in the morning. The doctors and staff were working properly. No complaints were received. If there is any flaw it will be removed. After investigation, action will also be taken on negligence in work. At present, cleaning work is being done.
The CMO also says that he has constituted a committee of three doctors to investigate the entire matter, which will report to him within 72 hours. The same report will be sent to the government.
