A court in Varanasi on Wednesday gave the Hindu side the right to worship in the basement of the southern part of Gyanvapi. After the verdict was announced, various types of reactions have started coming. Aaj Tak TV spoke to Alok Kumar, International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Rituals can be performed in that basement temple. This restores the status quo. It gives us back the right to worship God at that place. He said, today justice has been done to injustice.

The VHP chief said, 'We hope that this will be a harbinger of an early decision in the main case. Based on the available evidence and our understanding of the law, we hope that the final judgment in the main suits will also be in our favor and the Gyanvapi site will be returned to the Adi Vishveshwar temple for the well-being and welfare of Hindus.'

When asked about the Muslim party's plans to approach the High Court and the Supreme Court, the VHP chief said, 'We feel that in future both the High Court and the Supreme Court will not stop worshiping God in the basement. The Muslim side has every right to go to higher courts but today justice has been delivered unjustly.
