A big rally of the opposition alliance took place in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Lakhs of people reached this rally. This rally was organized jointly by RJD, Left and Congress. Despite bad weather, a large number of people remained standing at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPIM) leader Sitaram Yechury and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav participated in the 'Jan Vishwas Rally'.

The 'Mahagathbandhan' (which includes Congress, RJD and Left parties) was formed at the rally venue. A huge crowd of supporters was seen. This 'Jan Vishwas Rally' of RJD has been organized at the conclusion of the statewide 'Jan Vishwas Yatra' of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav. Slogans like 'Job means Tejashwi' were raised during the rally in support of Tejashwi Yadav, who has expressed commitment towards employment generation.
