In an interview with NDTV, para cricketer Aamir Hussain Lone said, “I did not expect that Adani Group would come forward to help like this. I wholeheartedly thank Gautam Adani sir and Preeti Adani ma'am for helping me. Helped. I salute him wholeheartedly. I had to struggle a lot for cricket. I never thought that I would get help from Adani sir.”

Expressed desire to meet Gautam Adani
Aamir Hussain said, “My big wish was to meet Gautam Adani sir. This dream of mine remains a dream for now. I hope that I will meet Adani sir someday.”

Para cricketer Aamir Hussain Lone said, “Because of Adani Foundation, I will get a lot of help to move ahead in my career. I am happy with this, but the people of Jammu and Kashmir are also happy.” Along with Aamir Hussain Lone, his mother and other family members have thanked Adani Foundation and Gautam Adani.

When Aamir was 8 years old, he became a victim of an accident in his father's mill. He lost both his hands in this accident. He has been playing cricket professionally since 2013. His teacher discovered cricket talent in him and introduced him to Para cricket. He also bowls using his legs.
