In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, two minor girls committed suicide after gang rape. After this, the father of one of the victims, fed up with the threats from the accused, also committed suicide. In this case, the police have also arrested the wife and daughter of the accused contractor. It is alleged that he had put pressure on the victim's father for a compromise, after which he also committed suicide.
The police have already arrested the rape accused in the case. The team of 'Aaj Tak' reached Khair Ka Dera village under Sisolar police station area of Hamirpur. About 100 families live here. Except a few families, all the rest belong to Nishad caste. Villagers told that the victim's family was very simple.
When we reached the door of the victim's family through the village footpath between the mud houses, there we met the minor daughter of the victim's family, whose elder sister was gang-raped by the accused Rajju and Sanju. The family is devastated after the incident.

Son told why father committed suicide
Made a video of girls being raped after making them drink alcohol. After this, both the cousins committed suicide. Aaj Tak also spoke to the son of this family, who had lodged an FIR against the wife and daughter of gang rape accused Ramroop for threatening his father.
The son told that after the incident, father came to the village from Kanpur with his sister's dead body. His last rites were performed. Since then, Ramroop's wife started threatening his father to retract his statement. She was saying that if he did not do so, she would implicate him in a false rape case and send him to jail.
Villagers said- Ram Roop's family is quarrelsome
The police have sent Ram Roop, his wife Nirmala and daughter Sudha to jail along with their son and nephew on charges of gangrape with minor girls. Other people of the village say that this family is very quarrelsome. They quarrel every now and then. The police station talks every now and then.
Know when and how the incident happened
Ramswaroop, Rajju and Sanju, contractors of the brick kiln located in Ghatampur, first gave alcohol to two minor girls working there. After this they gang-raped her and also made a video of the incident. After this the accused started blackmailing both the sisters through videos and photos. Hurt by this, both the girls committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree near the brick kiln on 29 February.
In this matter, the police registered a case and arrested the three accused Ram Swaroop, Rajju and Sanju. Objectionable photos of both the girls were found in the mobile phones of Rajju and Sanju, which were sent by the police for forensic investigation. The wife and daughter of the accused started putting pressure on the victim's father to retract his statement in the case, after which he also committed suicide.
