A married girl committed suicide in Kota, Rajasthan. It is being told that her husband used to beat her while under the influence of alcohol. Fed up with this, he committed suicide by consuming poison. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
Police said that the girl Mithilesh Bai (19) was a resident of Gopalpur village of Devli Majhi police station area. She was married 4 years ago to a young man named Jugraj, who is a resident of Bagri village, Khojna Anta district. They also have a one and a half year old innocent girl. Both husband and wife used to work as watchmen while living in Dadabadi.
Fed up with her husband's beating, wife drank poison
Husband Jugraj was addicted to drinking alcohol. After which he used to beat his wife every day. When the parents of the deceased came to know about the fight, they explained it to the son-in-law and daughter. But husband Jugraj did not give up drinking and kept beating his wife as soon as he reached home. Fed up with the daily beatings, Mithilesh Bai drank unknown poison kept in the house. Due to this his health deteriorated and he was admitted to MBS Hospital but he died.
Police busy searching for accused husband
The cousin brother of the deceased told that after the death of the deceased Mithilesh Bai, her husband Jugraj absconded. Police have registered the case and started investigation. Police say that he will be arrested soon.
