Upendra Kushwaha's party, which is part of NDA, has got only one seat in seat sharing. His party RLM will contest elections from Karakat seat only. However, Kushwaha wanted that along with Karakat, he should be given one more seat from Supaul or Sitamarhi seat. Upendra Kushwaha was also said to be angry after seat sharing. There was speculation about this because when the seat sharing was announced, neither Kushwaha nor any other leader of his party was present. However, later the top leadership of BJP talked to Upendra Kushwaha and convinced him.
