Maharashtra government has accepted the demand of Maratha reservation movement leader Manoj Jarange Patil. Last night, the government has handed over the ordinance to Manoj Jarange Patil to provide the benefit of Kunbi certificate to the relatives including the person who has got the Kunbi document. Along with this, the government has also accepted all the conditions of Manoj Jarange. Let us tell you that Manoj Jarange will address the victory rally in Vashi today (Saturday).

Let us tell you that Maratha reservation activist leader Manoj Jarange had given the time limit till Saturday i.e. 12 noon today to the state government to accept his demand. Jarange had also said that the government should issue an ordinance by tonight. Maratha reservation activists have threatened to march to Azad Maidan in Mumbai for massive protest if their demands are not met.
While giving an ultimatum to the government, Manoj Jarange had said that I will take my decision tomorrow afternoon i.e. at 12 noon on Saturday, but if I leave for Azad Maidan, I will not take it back. If the government doesn't agree, we will show what we can do.” He said that unless the community is given reservation in government jobs and education, the protesters will not stop the movement midway, while Maharashtra minister Deepak Kesarkar said That the demands of the workers have been accepted.
Not going to back down from the movement
Manoj Jarange was addressing protesters at Shivaji Chowk in Vashi area of neighboring Navi Mumbai after a meeting with a government delegation. The activist had earlier said that the delegation had given him some documents on which he would discuss with his supporters and announce his action. He said, “We are not going to back down from the movement until we get reservation.”
