On the road connecting Kullu-Manali in Himachal Pradesh, a part of the mountain suddenly broke and fell near Raison, narrowly saving the lives of people on the highway.
The video that has surfaced of the mountain cracking is shocking. Due to sudden heavy debris falling on the road, long queues of vehicles formed on both sides.
Earlier last year also a similar video had surfaced in which mountain debris had fallen on the road in Mandi. While removing the debris lying on the road, the mountain debris fell on the JCB machine. However, somehow the life of the JCB driver was saved during that time.
After this accident, a temporary ban was imposed on movement in Mandi in view of possible landslide on the Chandigarh-Manali Highway.
