IIM Placements 2024: Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIMI) offers good salary packages to students every time. This year also, salary packages worth lakhs have been offered to the students studying from IIM Indore. This year's average annual CTC was Rs 24-26 lakh. But in the final placement of 2022-24 batch, the maximum CTG job offer of Rs 1 crore has been given to a student.
More than 150 recruitment companies participated in the final placement season, who offered placements to a total of 594 students. These students are part of the two-year Post Graduate Program (PGP) and five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM).
Got a package offer of Rs 1 crore in domestic placement
An official told news agency PTI that one of our students has received the highest salary package of Rs 1 crore during the final placement period of this session. A company in the e-commerce industry has offered this student a job in the sales and marketing department. This offer is for domestic placement.
More than 50 recruiters joined hands with IIM Indore
IIMI Director Himanshu Rai told PTI that this year more than 50 new recruiters have joined hands with IIM Indore. These new recruiters include Accenture Operations, Airtel, Bajaj Consumer Care, CAMS, Datalink, ESAF Bank, Godrej & Boyce, HCLSoftware, HDFC Life, Hero Future Energies, Indus Insights, IndusInd Bank, Jio Financial Services, Mindsprint, Navi, Ola Electric, These include Sears, SBI Securities, Sutra Management Consulting, Suzlon Group, ThoughtFocus, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Unacademy, Zinnov and Zikus.
Apart from this, A.T. Kearney, Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte India, EY, Infosys Consulting, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, PwC India, Ambit Capital, Axis Bank, Bank of America, Barclays, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, HSBC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Kotak Mahindra Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, D.E. Shaw Group, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Asian Paints, AstraZeneca, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Consumer Care, General Mills, Godrej & Boyce, HUL, ITC, P&G, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Amazon, American Express, Capgemini Chrysalis, CarDekho, Cognizant , Genpact, Hero MotoCorp, HCLTech, Hexaware, IDFC First Bank, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, Ola Electric, PhonePe, Reliance Industries, Suzlon Group and Wakefit Recruiters were also involved in IIM Indore placements.
According to the statistics of the institute, 25 percent of the overall job offers are from the consulting field. Similarly, 19-19 percent job offers were from Finance and Sales and Marketing fields. Whereas students of IT or Analytics batch have got 12 percent offer. About 25 per cent of the batch were offered roles in General Management, HR and Operations.
