Tendulkar has traveled to Jammu and Kashmir with his family. Expressing happiness, PM Modi wrote on social media platform Two – Importance of “Make-in-India”. Let us together build a developed and self-reliant India!”

Sachin Tendulkar has shared some glimpses of his trip to Gulmarg and other parts of Kashmir with his wife Anjali and daughter Sara. Tendulkar has written about his experience on X, “Jammu and Kashmir will remain a beautiful experience in my memory. There was snow all around but we felt warm because of the wonderful hospitality of the people.”
He also wrote, “Cricket bats made from willow trees in Kashmir are great examples of “Make-in-India, Make for the World”. They are used all over the world, now I advise the people of the whole world and India to I encourage you to come to Jammu and Kashmir, a gem of Incredible India, and experience it.”

Sachin Tendulkar started his journey from Gulmarg where he met a cricket bat maker in the Sangam area of South Kashmir. From there he went to Pahalgam. Met soldiers at the command post near Aman Setu and played cricket with soldiers and locals on a road in Uri. During this, Tendulkar also met Jammu and Kashmir Para cricket team captain Amir Hussain Lone and gave him an autographed gift. Gifted a cricket bat.
