Controversy has arisen after an objectionable post regarding actress Kangana Ranaut was shared from the Instagram account of Congress leader Supriya Shrinet. Kangana Ranaut hit back at the Congress leader, saying that people should 'refrain from using the challenging lives or circumstances of sex workers as any kind of abuse or abuse.'

BJP has made Kangana Ranaut its candidate for Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. In a post from the Congress leader's social media account, a picture of Kangana was shared with a derogatory caption. After the controversy, that post has been deleted, but Kangana Ranaut herself retaliated on it.

Supriya Shrinet gave clarification

Supriya Shrinet has now claimed in a statement that many people have access to her social media account. He said, 'Many people have access to my Facebook and Insta accounts. One of these people had posted a very disgusting and objectionable post today. As soon as I came to know about it, I removed that post.

Supriya Shrinet said, 'Whoever knows me, knows very well that I do not make personal remarks about any woman. It has come to my knowledge that this post was earlier running on a parody account (@Supriyaparody). Someone picked up this post from here and posted it on my account. I am trying to identify the person who did this.

Kangana Ranaut hit back

The Congress leader was criticized from all sides regarding the post. Kangana Ranaut also reacted to the post and said, 'All women deserve their dignity.' She said, 'We must free our daughters from the shackles of prejudices, we must rise above curiosity about their body parts and above all we must stop sex workers from challenging their life or circumstances in the form of any kind of abuse or humiliation. Use should be avoided… every woman deserves her dignity.

Smriti Irani also targeted

Amidst the controversies, Union Minister Smriti Irani also commented. While sharing Kangana's post, he wrote on They don't understand how to deal with strong women.

'Will Congress sack Supriya Shrinet?'

National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma also wrote on 'X' in support of Kangana, 'Kangana, you are a fighter, shining star. People who are insecure do such degenerate things. Keep shining. All the best.' Actress and BJP leader Khushboo Sundar said, 'Very disgusting post by Supriya Srineta. This is more shocking because a woman has done it. Don't forget that you were born of a mother and you are also a mother. When you are sure of losing, you are ready to go to any extent to please your bosses.
