Stock Market Today 29 January 2024 Share Market Open Higher BSE NSE Sensex Nifty Gains Adani Group Stocks Jumps – Great rise in the stock market, Sensex jumped 700 points, record gain in Adani Group shares theinsiderinsight

Around 9:28 am, the Sensex was trading 632.89 points (0.90%) higher at the level of 71,333.56. Whereas during this period Nifty was trading at the level of 21,551.90 with a gain of 199.30 points (0.93%). At the same time, at 10:30 am, Sensex was trading at 71,499.44 with a gain of more than 1.5 percent and Nifty was trading at 21,603.50 with a gain of 1.6 percent.

Adani Group shares rise, market cap crosses Rs 15.5 lakh crore
There has been tremendous growth in Adani Group companies today. Shares of the flagship company Adani Enterprises and other group companies like Adani Power, Adani Total Gas, Adani Green Energy are also seeing growth. Around 9:30 am, Adani Enterprises was trading at Rs 3,040.85 with a rise of more than 5%. Apart from this, Adani Ports were seen trading with a rise of 3.76%, Adani Total Gas 3.56%, Adani Green Energy 3.47%, Adani Power 3.81% and Adani Wilmar 2.48%.

Due to this rise, the total market cap of Adani Group Stocks companies has crossed Rs 15.5 lakh crore.

The biggest rise in these shares
Among the Sensex companies, shares of Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Power Grid, Larsen & Toubro, NTPC, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries gained the most. While JSW Steel, Infosys, ITC and Mahindra & Mahindra Shares fell.

Last week Sensex fell 1.37% and Nifty fell 1.24%
The stock market was closed on Friday on the occasion of Republic Day. Earlier on Thursday, Sensex closed at 70,700.67 points with a fall of 359.64 points or 0.51 percent and Nifty also closed at 21,352.60 points with a fall of 101.35 points or 0.47 percent. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex fell 982.56 points or 1.37 percent. At the same time, Nifty of National Stock Exchange fell by 269.8 points or 1.24 percent.

FPI has withdrawn Rs 24,734 crore so far this month
Last week, the market cap of seven of the top 10 most valuable Sensex companies declined by Rs 1.16 lakh crore. According to depository data, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have withdrawn a net Rs 24,734 crore from Indian stocks so far this month (till January 25).
