Before the Lok Sabha Elections (2024), different parties are making preparations on their political grounds. Meanwhile, Azad Samaj Party President Chandrashekhar Azad, who is contesting from Nagina Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh, said in a conversation with Aaj Tak's colleague Lallantop, 'Chandrashekhar Azad is a responsible citizen of India, who loves his country very much and Is concerned about the problems of. Who is fighting for the respect of every poor, labourer, farmer, youth and sisters and daughters.
He further said that Chandrashekhar Azad is the one who goes to everyone's movement without being invited, who considers every person's problem as his own problem, who considers every poor as his family. The one who considers handcuffs as his jewel and jails as his home, he is Chandrashekhar Azad.
What are the ASP workers angry about?
Talking about the decision to contest elections from Nagina Lok Sabha seat, Chandrashekhar Azad said that this is not my decision but the party's decision. Seven-eight of our Zilla Panchayat candidates in the area had won when only my photo was on the banner, with the belief that if this man becomes strong, the voice of the poor will become stronger. After these victories given by the public, I had this pain in my mind that the District Panchayat Presidents became people from the opposing parties, due to which even today our District Panchayat members are not able to get any work done even if they want to. In such a situation, the public tells us that they voted for you but you are not able to get the work done. After this it was decided that a bigger force than the District Panchayat should be created here.
He further said that there is anger among the Bhim Army Chief and Azad Samaj Party workers that they fight for every section of the country but when their leaders and workers are shot at and atrocities are committed, then no one has their voice. Picks up.

'Why don't we take away power from them…'
Chandrashekhar Azad further said that today I want to give jobs to the youth who are unemployed but I do not have that power. Those who are poor, do not have luxuries, where there are no schools and hospitals. Apart from this, I want to work for the basic needs as well as the areas which should get opportunities. Many people are roaming outside with those who fired at me, but the government and the police never tried to identify who was the one who attacked Chandrashekhar Azad.
He further said that why should we not snatch away the power which the police, government machinery, intelligence and administration are misusing?
'There is no compromise between the weak and the strong…'
On the question of not being able to talk to Akhilesh Yadav and Priyanka Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Azad said that there is democracy, he did not feel like it. Agreements are not forced. I believe that there is no compromise between the weak and the strong, we are weak that is why they did not compromise. After this we also decided that first we will become powerful so that there can be equal agreements.

'A leader's dogmatism…'
I am happy that many people from Congress made efforts for me. I met many people of the alliance, they tried but due to the stubbornness of one leader, an agreement could not be reached. No problem, we have formed a new alliance – Janata Alliance.
Talking on Y+ Security and Jayant Chaudhary, Chandrashekhar said, am I the first person who has got security? My security is not permanent, but conditional because of the elections. BJP might not have been happy and given me security, they might have realized that the way murder attempts are being made, if this man dies in the midst of elections, then all the Dalit votes will go to the opposition parties and BJP will suffer a lot. There will be huge loss.
He further said that I am the person in independent India who was shot at and narrowly escaped. I was poisoned in jail, beaten during the NRC movement, yet I survived and am still alive. If I get security, it should not hurt the opposition. Before me, my sister's nephew got security. And I feel that some opposition leaders are raising questions on security and making allegations that they want Akhilesh to die, so it would be better.
Chandrashekhar further said that I have good relations with Jayant Chaudhary. Political relations have their place and practical relations have their place. I also have good relations with my sister and Akhilesh Yadav, if they ever need me, I will definitely help.

What did Chandrashekhar say on reservation?
ASP President further said that on 14 August 1947, this country was under the British, on 15 we got independence and on 16 August the flag of independence was hoisted in India. The question is whether the people who were deprived of their rights on the basis of the laws that existed before the Constitution, will get money, land and kingdom. Governments are formed to uplift the marginalized people. Those who had 100 rupees in their bank accounts before independence, even on 16th August 1947 only 100 rupees remained, what did we get?
There are two percent government jobs in this country, in which total reservation is 59.30 percent, but even today if someone wants to question our ability, then he can abuse in the name of reservation. Reservation is a share.
On BSP supremo Mayawati's statement of 'misleading Dalits', the ASP President said that she did not even take my name, if she had taken my name, she would have said something. She is elder and I don't speak in front of elders.
He further said that the question is how long will the skin of Dalits continue to be pulled in this country. According to NCRB data, women are raped and murdered. Those women and daughters should get a life of dignity, what plan does the government have for this? What agenda does the government have to empower women? Women in India are neither free nor safe.

'Unemployment is the biggest problem…'
Chandrashekhar Azad said that the biggest problem in the country is unemployment. After that inflation is a big problem. Flood is a big problem in Nagina. Guldar took the lives of 25 thousand people here. There are problems of roads, electricity and water here. There are no good schools and colleges here. There is no dearth of talent in the village, but opportunities are not available. No one is looking towards the poor. It is necessary to build a sports college and university here.
He further said that this is a big battle, which cannot be won easily. We are fighting to gain political power.
