New Delhi: Two organizers were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the accident that took place during the Jagran organized at Kalkaji Temple in Delhi. Police gave this information. The incident occurred during a vigil on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday when a wooden stage built at the venue collapsed. In this, 49 year old Tina died and 17 other people were injured.

Police said that the arrested people have been identified as Satish Kumar (38), resident of Tughlakabad, and Anuj Mittal (43) of Kalkaji. Under sections 337 (causing hurt by act endangering the life or safety of others), 304A (causing death by negligence) and 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code at Kalkaji police station. A case was registered.

According to sources, more than 1,600 people attended the Jagran and singer B Praak also performed at the event. The singer had left the venue before the accident.
