When the dark shadow of controversy was removed from the birthplace of Shri Ram, good days also arrived for the Shiva temple on the Kuber mound located in the campus. Earlier this place was considered an archaeological heritage. But, after the demolition of the complex in 1992, it was also included in the scope of acquisition.

Ram's ancestor Maharaja Raghu had built it.
This place is very ancient. Regarding its establishment, it is said that it was constructed during the time of Maharaja Raghu, the ancestor of Lord Shri Ram. Earlier, during Mahashivratri, a huge fair was organized here and a Shiva procession also took place at night. But, later it stopped.
However, after the Supreme Court's decision in favor of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was formed. After that, along with the acquired land, the land of Kuber Mound was also given to the Trust and before the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, worship was also done at this place.
Acharya Satyendra Das told the mythological story
Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, said that the great king was Raghu. Whenever Raghu ji had a need, he donated all his property. A disciple named Gausha came and requested him that he needed 14 thousand gold coins.
He decided to climb on Kuber. When Kuber came to know about this, he dropped a small mountain of gold coins. Maharaj Raghu gave all the gold coins needed to Gausha. But, this treasure had come in the name of the disciple, hence Maharaja Raghu could not take the remaining gold coins in his treasure. Therefore Lord Shiva was established there. Since then this statue has been installed there.
Worship started again in the temple after 38 years
Worship had stopped here since 1992. This year it is a matter of good fortune that Lord Shri Ram Lala has been consecrated and Ram temple has been built. Only after this Shivratri has come. On this Shivratri, everyone thought of worshiping and celebrating Bhav Utsav.
The way the life consecration ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lal was celebrated. Similarly, this year the festival of Lord Shiva seated on Kuber Tila is being celebrated. Along with that, his statue, which is in this form, has been decorated in a grand manner. A way for people to go has also been made.
