Avesh Khan Cricketing Journey Story: Avesh Khan had made an important contribution in helping Rajasthan Royals win in the 9th match of IPL 2024. He spent only 4 runs while defending 17 runs in the last over for the team. Avesh bowled those 'pain-breaking' yorkers of Akshar Patel and Tristan Stubbs, in front of which both the batsmen looked helpless. But the journey of becoming a cricketer was not so easy for Avesh. He has faced a lot of difficulties to play professional cricket.
Avesh was born on December 13, 1996 in Indore. He belongs to an ordinary family. His father Ashiq Khan had told that his son used to insist on playing only cricket. He told that Avesh used to practice for 9 hours a day. Father Aashiq used to run a paan shop. It was not at all easy for the son of a paan shop owner to play cricket at such a high level. The father told that he wants to see his son playing Test cricket.
Let us tell you that Avesh made his IPL debut in the 2017 season. He entered the IPL playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. After this, Avesh made his debut in Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018. Avesh's continuous hard work also opened the doors of Team India for him. Avesh made his international debut in February 2022 through T20.
Mother used to stop me from cricket
Let us tell you that Avesh's mother used to stop him from playing cricket. The mother said that she had no idea that her son would play cricket at such a high level. Now she is happy to see her son and wants her son to play.
IPL and international career has been like this till now
Avesh has played 8 ODI and 20 T20 International matches in his career so far. Apart from this, he has played 49 IPL matches. He has taken 9 wickets in 8 ODIs. Apart from this, while bowling in 19 innings of T20 International, he took 19 wickets at an average of 32.52. In 49 innings of IPL, he has taken 56 wickets at an average of 26.75. During this period his economy has been 8.58.
