Delhi Capitals Women vs RCB Final: The final match of the Women's Premier League is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Delhi had made a stormy start in the title match, but RCB bowlers suddenly turned the entire match upside down. Sophie Molineux and Shreyanka Patil bowled charismatic bowling for RCB.
At one time the score of Delhi Capitals was 61 runs without any wicket in 6 overs, but then the RCB bowlers turned the match with charismatic bowling and bundled out the entire Delhi team for 113 runs. For RCB, Shreyanka Patil took 4 wickets and Sophie Molineux took 3 wickets. Sophie Molineux gave three blows to Delhi in just one over.
Delhi Capitals, who came to bat first after winning the toss, got an explosive start by Shefali Verma and Meg Lanning. Both of them had taken the score beyond 60 in the powerplay itself. Delhi's first wicket fell in the 8th over at the score of 64. However, after this the entire team fell apart like a pack of cards.
For Delhi, Shefali Verma scored 44 runs in 27 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. Whereas captain Meg Lanning played an inning of 23 runs. Apart from these two, no one could stay at the crease for long. After this, Jemimah Rodrigues 00, Alice Capsey 00, Marijane Kapp 08, Jess Jonassen 03, Radha Yadav 12 and Minu Mani were out after scoring 05 runs. Apart from this, Arundhati Reddy scored 10 runs and Shikha Pandey scored 5 unbeaten runs.
When Shefali and Lanning were playing, it seemed that the Delhi Capitals team would easily score 170 to 180, but due to the charismatic bowling of RCB, the entire team collapsed for 113 runs. Now RCB has to score only 114 runs to win the first title.
