England Playing 11 Vs India 1st Test: England cricket team is on India tour. The English team has to play a five-match test series in India. The Test series between India and England will start tomorrow i.e. Thursday, 25 January. The first test match of the series will be played in Hyderabad. English captain Ben Stokes has announced his playing eleven for this match.
England has not included senior fast bowler James Anderson in its playing eleven for the first test. Considering the pitch, Ben Stokes has included two spinners in the final eleven. Apart from this, Ben Fox has got a chance in place of Harry Brook.
Talking about England's playing eleven, Jack Crawley and Ben Duckett will open the innings. After this, Ollie Pope and then experienced batsman Joe Root will be seen playing. Jonny Bairstow will play at number five. However, he will not have the responsibility of wicketkeeping. In such a situation, he will be seen playing as a batsman. Then Stokes will come as captain. Stokes can be seen playing only at number six in this entire series. After this wicketkeeper Ben Fox will play. In this way, the England team will enter the first test with seven batsmen.
England team will field with three spinners
In the first Test to be played in Hyderabad, the English team has included three spinners in its playing eleven. It includes leg spinner Rehan Ahmed, left arm off spinner Jack Leach along with young Tom Hartley. Tom Hartley will make his debut in Hyderabad. The surprising thing is that England has included only Mark Wood in the playing eleven as a fast bowler for the first test. Along with him, Ben Stokes will play the role of second fast bowler.
