Suryakumar Yadav T20I Cricketer of the Year: T20 cricket specialist batsman Suryakumar Yadav has won the title of T20 Cricketer of the Year for the second consecutive time. The International Cricket Council (ICC) selected India's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav as the best cricketer of T20 International for the last year i.e. 2023. Earlier in 2022 also, Suryakumar had received this award. He has become the first Indian to win the title of T20 Cricketer of the Year twice consecutively.
Along with Suryakumar Yadav, others in the race to win this award were Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe, Mark Chapman of New Zealand and Alpesh Ramazani of Uganda. However, Suryakumar left these three behind and won this award. Surya batted in 2023 with an average of around 50 and a strike rate of more than 150.
Suryakumar was the third highest run scoring batsman last year.
In 2023, UAE's Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest score of 863 runs in 23 matches at an average of around 40 and a strike rate of 162.52. Whereas Suryakumar Yadav had scored 733 runs in 18 matches at an average of 48.86 and strike rate of 155.95. During this period, two centuries and five half-centuries were scored from Surya's bat.

Healy Mathews won in women's cricket
In women's cricket, West Indies' Healy Mathews won the T20 Cricketer of the Year award. Matthews became the second West Indies player to win the T20 Player of the Year Award. Mathews had performed brilliantly in 2023.
