Shoaib Bashir Visa Issue: Shoaib Bashir's troubles are not showing signs of ending. England's Shoaib Bashir has been ruled out of the first Test to be played in Hyderabad due to not getting a visa for India. Due to visa problems, Bashir was forced to return home to England. The England team had come to India after the training camp in Abu Dhabi, but Bashir could not come with them.

English captain Ben Stokes had also expressed disappointment over Bashir's visa issue. Apart from this, Indian captain Rohit Sharma had also said that he is hoping that the issue of Bashir's visa should be resolved as soon as possible. Now a special voice has been raised from the office of England PM Rishi Sunak regarding Bashir.

Rishi Sunak's spokesperson said that the government expects British citizens to be treated fairly in India's visa process. The spokesperson was quoted by the BBC as saying, “I cannot speak about the specifics of this matter. But broadly, we have raised such issues with the High Commission in the past as well. We are clear that we expect India Will treat British citizens fairly every time in our visa process.”

It further said, “We have previously raised the issues that British citizens of Pakistani origin have experienced. We have raised issues with the Indian High Commissioner in London about their experience of applying for visas.”

The first test will be played from January 25

Let us tell you that the first match of the five-match Test series to be played between India and England will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad from Thursday, January 25.
