India vs England 5th Test: Team India has almost confirmed its victory on the second day of the fifth Test being played in Dharamshala. On the second day of the fifth Test, Rohit Sharma and Shuman Gill scored centuries and then Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal scored half-centuries to eliminate England from the match.
In response to the 218 runs scored by England in the first innings, Team India has scored 473 runs after losing 8 wickets by the end of the second day's play. Indian team's lead has reached 255 runs. At the time of stumps, Jasprit Bumrah returned unbeaten on 19 runs with the help of two fours in 55 balls and Kuldeep Yadav returned unbeaten on 27 runs with the help of 2 fours in 55 balls. For India, Rohit Sharma played an inning of 103 runs and Shubhman Gill played an inning of 110 runs. Whereas debutant Devdutt Padikkal scored 65 runs and Sarfaraz Khan scored 56 runs. Before this, Yashasvi Jaiswal also scored a half-century.
Kuldeep and Bumrah harassed in the third session
In the first Dharamshala Test, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal made the British cry. In the third session, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah also troubled the English team a lot. At one time the Indian team had lost 8 wickets for 428 runs and about one and a half hour of play was left. The Indian team has scored 473 runs so far. That means Rohit Brigade is still 255 runs ahead of England. Tomorrow i.e. on the third day of the match this lead may even cross 300.
