India vs England 1st Test: The Indian team had to face defeat against England on its own soil. England achieved an interesting victory in the Hyderabad Test. Team India had a good start. But after this the whole game changed in the second innings. An Englishman brought many Indian batsmen to their knees. India had scored 436 runs in the first innings. But in the second innings the team was all out after scoring 202 runs. During this, Tom Hartley took 9 wickets for England.
Actually Tom Hartley was playing his debut test match for England. He was playing the third international match of his career. Hartley has played 2 ODI matches. But his identity had not been found yet. But his deadly bowling against India stunned the whole world. Hartley showed the way to the pavilion to many legendary players of Team India. He proved to be very important in England's victory. However, Ollie Pope was chosen as 'Player of the Match' for this match.
During India's first innings, Hartley gave 131 runs in 25 overs and took 2 wickets. He dismissed Shubman Gill. Gill walked out after scoring 23 runs. After this Hartley made KL Rahul his victim. Rahul returned to the pavilion after scoring 86 runs. He was caught by Rehan Ahmed. Hartley bowled 26.5 overs in the second innings. During this, 7 wickets were taken for 62 runs. He showed the way to the pavilion to captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Akshar Patel, Shrikar Bharat and Ravichandran Ashwin.
Let us tell you that the second match of the Test series will be played in Visakhapatnam from 2nd February. After this, the third match will be held in Rajkot from 15th February. The last match of this series will be played in Dharamshala from 7th March.
