Mayank Yadav said in a conversation with Geo Cinema, “Among all the bowlers I spoke to in Delhi, Ishant Bhai and Saini Bhai told me that even if I want to add something new, I should still bowl at the same pace. “If I want to add a new skill, I should do it while maintaining my speed. I don't want any kind of skill in which I have to compromise on my speed.”
Mayank, who took three wickets for 14 runs in four overs against RCB, said that his focus is always on taking wickets. He said, “I don't focus as much on speed as I do on taking wickets and contributing to the team by taking wickets. However, while bowling, I have a thing in my mind that whenever I bowl, it should have good speed. “After the match, I always ask people what was the fastest ball speed in the match, but during the match, I only concentrate on my bowling.”
