Best International Cricketer Award: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave the title of 'Best International Cricketer' to four male players. BCCI's awards ceremony is being held after four years. Earlier, BCCI had organized the award function in 2019. This time the awards are being organized in Hyderabad. In this regard, a total of four players were awarded the title from 2019-20 to 2022-23. The four players included Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and Shubman Gill.
All four players were given the title of 'Best International Cricketer' under the 'Polly Umrigar Award'. Pacer Mohammed Shami received the title of 'Best International Cricketer' under the 'Polly Umrigar Award' 2019-20.
Apart from this, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was chosen as the 'Best International Cricketer' for the 'Polly Umrigar Award' 2020-21.
Moving forward, pacer Jasprit Bumrah was selected as the 'Best International Cricketer' for the 'Polly Umrigar Award' 2021-22.
Batsman Shubman Gill was given the title of 'Best International Cricketer' for the 'Poly Umrigar Award' 2022-23.
Apart from this, many awards were also given
Apart from 'Best International Cricketer', BCCI also distributed many types of awards. In this, the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award 2019-20 was given to former veteran batsman Farooq Engineer. Apart from this, former batsman and head coach Ravi Shastri was also awarded the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.
He got the title of 'Best International Debut'
The title of 'Best International Debut' 2019-20 was given to Mayank Agarwal. Apart from this, Akshar Patel received the 'Best International Debut' award for 2020-21. Moving forward, Shreyas Iyer was given the 'Best International Debut' award for 2021-22. Then young left-handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was awarded the title of 'Best International Debut' for 2022-23.
