Speaking to news agency 'PTI', Deepak said, “Mahi bhai has recovered well. For me – he should play at least 2-3 seasons for Chennai Super Kings. I look at him as an elder brother.” We have many fun moments together, like playing PUBG. I am very lucky to learn from him.”
Had knee surgery done after IPL 2023
Let us tell you that Dhoni suffered a knee injury during IPL 2023. Dhoni was also seen walking with a limp in many matches of the tournament. Then after the tournament was over, Mahi got knee surgery done from which he has now almost recovered.

Batting in 218 innings of these matches, he has scored 5082 runs at an average of 38.79 and strike rate of 135.92. During this period, he has scored 24 half-centuries, in which his high score has been 84 runs.
