Musheer Khan Double Century Ranji Trophy 2023-24: Musheer Khan scored a double century while playing for Mumbai in Ranji Trophy. Sarfaraz Khan's younger brother gave a new lease of life to Mumbai by playing a brilliant innings in the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy being played against Baroda. Musheer completed his double century by hitting 18 fours. On one hand, elder brother Sarfaraz is shining for India against England, while on the other hand, younger brother has done wonders in first class.
Musheer played a brilliant innings and got Mumbai out of difficult situations. Mumbai had lost the fourth wicket at the score of 90 runs and then the fifth wicket at 142 runs. But meanwhile Musheer Khan stood aside and helped the team reach a great score. This innings of Musheer seems to be taking Mumbai towards victory. Mumbai, which was once in a bad condition, now looks like a strong contender for victory after Musheer's double century.
Excluding the quarter-final against Baroda, Musheer has played only three first-class matches. Musheer made his first class debut in December 2022. He scored 360 runs in 7 innings of 7 matches at an average of 60.00. During this period, he scored 2 centuries with his bat. Musheer was the batsman who scored the most centuries in the Under-19 World Cup. Apart from this, he also scored 1 half-century.
