Virat Kohli's Replacement: Virat Kohli will not be a part of the Indian team for the first two matches of the five-match Test series against England to be played from January 25. Kohli has withdrawn his name from two Tests due to personal reasons, information about which was given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday (January 22). According to news agency 'PTI', either Rajat Patidar or Sarfaraz Khan can be included in the Indian team as a replacement for Virat Kohli for the first two Tests. Patidar is a part of Royal Challenger Bangalore and he plays with Virat Kohli in IPL. Rajat represents Madhya Pradesh in first class cricket.

Sarfaraz Khan is the star of domestic cricket and he is continuously performing brilliantly in first class cricket, due to which for some time now there has been a demand to make him a part of the Indian Test team. Sarfaraz plays first class cricket for Mumbai. In such a situation, this could be a golden opportunity for Sarfaraz.

Sarfaraz Khan: The star batsman playing for Mumbai has played 44 first class matches so far, in which he has scored 3751 runs at an average of 68.20 in 65 innings. During this period, 26-year-old Safraz has scored 13 centuries and 11 half-centuries, in which his high score was 301* runs.

Rajat Patidar: 30-year-old Rajat Patidar, who plays for Madhya Pradesh, has so far played 55 first class matches, batting in 93 of which he has scored 4000 runs at an average of 45.97. Meanwhile, Patidar has scored 12 centuries and 22 half-centuries, in which his high score was 196 runs.
